DV5 engines are a 1.5L 16V engine used in many Peugeot, Citroens and Vauxhalls. These engines have a traditional timing belt kit run from the crankshaft to the inlet camshaft pulley, however they also have a camshaft chain in the camshaft case that runs the inlet and exhaust camshaft. The manufacturer originally made these engines with a 7mm camshaft chain that became renowned for failure causing engine damage. This 8mm kit replaces the chain to a more durable, more reliable one.
